Sons of the Forest<\/a> is all about surviving on a remote island full of cannibals and monsters. To keep yourself safe from these critters, you must find different types of weapons and utility items, such as frag grenades.<\/p>\n

Similar to a few other items, you can’t craft grenades in Sons of the Forest, meaning they are secretly hidden at certain locations by the game developers. If you want to get your hands on these explosives, then here’s a comprehensive guide to finding Grenades in Sons of the Forest.<\/p>\n

How To Get Frag Grenades in Sons of the Forest<\/h2>\n

Frag Grenades can usually be found in weapon cases that are scattered across the Sons of the Forest island. The first location where you can definitely find a grenade is on the western part of the island near a river.<\/strong> Once you arrive at the location, you’ll find a skeleton with a briefcase containing 2x grenades and 2x C4 bricks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The second grenade is in a bunker on the island’s eastern side.<\/strong> Similar to other bunkers, this one also has a narrow opening, and you will need a VIP keycard<\/a> to access the underground complex. To get the VIP keycard, you’ll need the maintenance keycard, a rebreather, and an air tank. Once you have it, visit the bunker located northern part of the island.<\/p>\n

Keep moving forward after opening the door until you find a suitcase at the bar. This suitcase also contains 2x grenades and 2x C4 bricks. We’ve encountered these two frag grenade locations so far during our playthrough.<\/p>\n

However, it doesn’t mean that you won’t find more grenades in Sons of the Forest. Try to locate these weapon cases as you explore the island to obtain them. Additionally, manually saving the game in Bunker and then loading the save file will make the suitcases items respawn. So make sure to remember the locations if you ever run out of these utility items.<\/p>\n
