One of the biggest and most iconic fights in the Castlevania series is the battle with Death<\/strong>. Death was always an enemy that players faced in the series. Death is back and he is a boss players can go up against in the Dead Cells Return to Castlevania DLC<\/a>. Here, we will go over how players can beat Death in Dead Cells.<\/p>\n

As for any boss fight, the Death boss fight is filled with patterns. Knowing when to dodge<\/strong> is the key to defeating Death. There are two main boss phases when facing Death in the Castlevania DLC<\/a>. Death will start by throwing small scythes at you and as the player, you need to take them out by attacking them. Death will also throw a much larger scythe at you and the key is to roll or jump over it. Do not panic because it is large. So long as you are a bit far away from Death, you can dodge it.<\/p>\n

Death will then throw orbs at you which again, you will need to dodge a few times to overcome this attack. Remember to attack as much as possible <\/strong>between your dodges. In Deaths Second phase, his attacks become more aggressive and bigger. One attack is where he swings his scythe in a dark bubbled area which will hit the player if they do not dodge in time. If Death charges at you with his scythe, dodge, toward him to get past the attack.<\/p>\n

Pets <\/strong>are actually great weapons against Death. Because pets cannot die, they can continually attack Death as you are dodging around his scythes. So either the Leghugger or Maria’s Cat will be a great addition to the fight against Death. Shields are not really recommended here as they are a bit slow and do not offer much protection.<\/p>\n

Projectile weapons are great against Death. Bows <\/strong>are good because they do massive damage while keeping you at a distance so you can have an easier time predicting Death’s attacks.
