The world of Sanctuary is filled with different types of crafting materials players can farm to upgrade their equipment. One such crafting material category is Ores in Diablo 4<\/a>, in which players must use to upgrade\/craft gear at the Blacksmith<\/a> and Jeweler<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This guide explains everything we know so far about Ores in Diablo 4<\/strong>, including the locations in the world of Sanctuary, how you can get more quickly, some spicy lore descriptions, and more.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, it is essential to note that you can get some crafting material Ore types from salvaging equipment in Diablo 4<\/a>. For example, you get 1-2 Iron Chunks from salvaging any weapon at the Blacksmith.<\/p>\n

There’s also a way to get types of Ore materials out in the open world, across the five main regions of Sanctuary, in dungeons (possibly), and even Strongholds<\/a>. Basically, players will need to interact with a Vein of the corresponding Ore type to get some crafting materials. <\/p>\n

Please note: <\/strong>At the time of writing, it is unclear if there are more plant types and crafting materials to discover—the table below features information from WoWHead<\/a>. We will update the list as soon as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n

Lore Description: “A common, dark ore that while heavy results in clean, useful metal and used by artisans throughout Sanctuary.<\/em>“<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Salvage weapons of any quality or get from Veins in almost all regions of Sanctuary.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Silver Ore (Magic Crafting Material)<\/strong><\/td>\nUse: Upgrade or craft weapons and jewelry.<\/p>\n

Lore Description: “Silver is prized by artisans for both its beauty and potency against dangerous creatures throughout Sanctuary.”<\/em><\/td>\n

Salvage magic weapons or get from Veins in almost all regions of Sanctuary.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Scattered Prism (Rare Crafting Material)<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

Use: Add sockets to gear.<\/p>\n

Lore Description: <\/strong>“Rare and hoarded by their previous owners, these prisms are often guarded jealously.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Found on massive monster corpses, for example, a World Boss like Ashava<\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

That’s all the Ore crafting materials we know about thus far in Diablo 4 and how you can get them. This might change as we edge closer to release, or Blizzard might add more to the game in the future.<\/p>\n
