The early access game Sons of the Forest<\/a> isn’t exactly rife with methods of transportation, meaning you’ll have to take yourself on foot wherever you want to go – at least, that was the case until the hang glider was added to the game. After picking up a hang glider, you can cover a lot more distance quickly by gliding off of cliffs, mountains, hills, and other peaks.<\/p>\n

Hang gliders are an incredibly useful item in Sons of the Forest, as they’ll help you get where you need to go. In this guide, we’ll go over all of the hang glider locations in Sons of the Forest and how to use the hang glider. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hang Glider Locations In Sons Of The Forest<\/h2>\n

Hang gliders can be found in Sons of the Forest at both dedicated spawn locations and at Abandoned Camps. In the map above, you can see all 11 hang glider locations in Sons of the Forest. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hang gliders’ locations are defined by the backpack icon, while Abandoned Camps containing them are denoted by the Camp icons. As you can see, there are hang gliders dispersed all over the map, so no matter where you’re positioned, it’s like you’ll be able to find one nearby.<\/p>\n

There also might be some hang glider locations that the community has not found yet, so don’t be surprised if you find a hang glider somewhere not on the map! Keep exploring to see what you can discover.<\/p>\n

How To Use The Hang Glider In Sons Of The Forest <\/picture><\/h2>\n

To use the hang glider in Sons Of The Forest, you’ll need to head to the top of a high place before jumping off of it. (Picture: Endnight Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

So now that you’ve got your hands on the hang glider, you need to know how to use it. The hang glider is a fast method of transportation, allowing you to get wherever you need to go in a jiffy – at least much faster than walking! So equip your hang glider, find a high place to jump from, and get ready to glide. <\/p>\n

Once you jump from a high point with the hang glider equipped, press jump one more time in the air. You’ll start gliding in the air during your airtime. During your glide, your vertical controls are inverted. You’ll press “W” to go downwards, increasing your speed as you head toward the ground. Your “S” key, on the other hand, will pull you upward. <\/p>\n

Sadly, the hang glider isn’t meant to be stored, so you’ll have to carry it in hand after you use it or go pick up another one.
