Resident Evil games have had a strange fetish for keys. Resident Evil 4<\/a> is no different, and there are a ton of unique, intricately crafted keys that open various locked doors and pathways in the game. <\/p>\n

One such unique key is the Wayshrine key, which, as you might have guessed, is used to open various Wayshrines scattered across the village. If you’re wondering where to find this key, you’re in the right place. Here’s where you can find the Wayshrine key in Resident Evil 4.<\/p>\n

The Wayshrine key in Resident Evil 4 can be found in the Mural Cave, next to the Boathouse in Chapter 4. It’s the area you visit right after defeating Del Lago in the lake. You can find the exact location of the key in the screenshot above. <\/p>\n

There are several Wayshrines in the village region of Resident Evil 4. All these contain treasures that you can sell to the merchant for some free coins. There are no Wayshrines in the Castle region of the game, so it’s pointless holding on to the key after that.<\/p>\n

Once you have opened up all the Wayshrines in the village, don’t forget to sell the Wayshrine key to the merchant to snag an extra 1,200 coins.  <\/p>\n
