When it comes to cosmetics, Overwatch 2<\/strong> is one of the biggest games that promote their skins for players to express themselves. There are a lot of different skins<\/a> in Overwatch 2 that allow players to show off what they like with the heroes they enjoy using. The details that go into the skin are amazing too, as they also change the weapons the hero is using.<\/p>\n

Because of all the details that go into the weapons and skins, players sometimes want to take a moment to look at the weapon they are using. Most games allow players to inspect their weapons<\/strong>, but you cannot do so in Overwatch 2. Here, we are going to go over when players should expect weapon inspections<\/a> in Overwatch 2.<\/p>\n

Is Weapon Inspects Still Coming To Overwatch 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, Overwatch 2 developers have confirmed that weapon inspects are still coming to Overwatch 2<\/strong>. However, players should not expect them to come anytime soon. In a recent live stream, developers went into detail about where weapon inspects are and when they should be coming.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Jared Neuss from Blizzard said that weapon inspections are a low-priority development item for the Overwatch 2 team. He further wants to detail that there are other features that the team is working on that will make the Overwatch 2 experience much more enjoyable, and weapon inspects are pushed to the wayside to develop these other features.<\/p>\n

When Is Weapon Inspects Coming To Overwatch 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Players are going to be waiting a long time for weapon inspections in Overwatch 2. Jared said that this feature is a low priority and that players should not expect them by the next season or 2<\/strong>. That means players will not get the weapon inspections in this current season as well.<\/p>\n

What this means is that weapon inspections will not come to Overwatch 2 by Season 6 at the earliest<\/strong>. This is a bit of a shame because although the skins in Overwatch 2 are very desired, there are some characters that cannot show off their weapons.
