The first Diablo 4<\/strong> Beta test weekend is now over and players are giving their thoughts about how the Beta went. Given that this was a beta test, there were plenty of errors<\/a> that players encountered throughout the weekend. But of course, it is important to acknowledge that it was a beta test weekend and try to understand the game from what we were able to actually play.<\/p>\n

We here have already given our impressions<\/a> about the Diablo 4 beta. But of course, we were not the only ones who played the game. There are others on the internet that have played the game and have given their thoughts. One of them is Twitch streamer Asmongold<\/strong>. Here, we will give a quick summary of what he thought about the Diablo 4 beta test weekend.<\/p>\n

Asmongold Has Some Concerns About Diablo 4<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Asmongold has been around the block and has been a Diablo fan for a very long time. He knows what to expect from Diablo games and has ideas on his own on what he is looking for from the series. With that being the case, Asmongold does have an overall concern about the game after playing the beta.<\/p>\n

Asmongold is worried about the simplicity of the game<\/strong>. With Diablo 4 aiming to reach a much wider audience than what the series is used to, it seems that, according to Asmongold, there are a lot of systems in the game that has been simplified. He also claims that he is worried that the game will be repetitive and will not have “benchmark bosses” toward the endgame. He also said that he is worried about the lack of variety of content after players are done with the main story. He says that unless Blizzard can find a middle ground for casual and engaged players, the game will fail to capture his attention for long.<\/p>\n

Some Good Points Of Diablo 4 For Asmongold<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although Asmongold has some concerns for himself when it comes to Diablo 4, he does praise the overall beta experience. Asmongold actually rates the Diablo 4 beta an 8.5 out of 10<\/strong> which is very passable for a lot of people. Asmongold says that the cutscenes show your character in a way that is very engaging, the voice acting is very good, and the fact that the story is not too complex is a good thing.<\/p>\n

Asmongold also said that he believes that the combat is fun although it is not too complicated. He said that he much preferred ranged characters<\/strong> over melee characters. But the message seems to be that those who are wanting to get into the Diablo series should try the game out although he is worried that it will not fully engage those who have a deep desire for complex systems.<\/p>\n
