How To Find Shaleback Hatchling In Conan Exiles?<\/h2>\n

The Shaleback Hatchling, which appears to be the Turtle Hatchling’s cousin, can be tamed to get the Greater Shaleback. This animal spawns in two different biomes, the River and the Savanna biomes, so players won’t have difficulty locating these hatchlings.<\/p>\n

However, they do spawn in similar locations of crocodiles, rabbits, and antelopes, so you are warned to approach these areas with great caution. On the Isle of Siptah<\/a>, Shalebacks can be located on the south of Costigan’s Bluff (H6)<\/strong> along the banks of a dam.<\/p>\n

In The Exiled Lands<\/a>, the Shalebacks can be spotted around the Oasis of Nekhet (B8)<\/strong>, east of The Sentinels ruins (H4)<\/strong> and on the isles west of the Pitfall Pass (J5\/6)<\/strong>, spawning locations for Komodo Dragons. Once you’ve obtained a few Shaleback Hatchlings, these can be placed within an Animal Pen to be raised into different variants of Shalebacks, including Greater Shalebacks.<\/p>\n

To achieve this, you can feed the Shaleback hatchling any Shadespiced food items, but to increase the chances of getting a higher rarity, the Shadespiced Plant Fiber is the best option. This also grants you the most experience in taming the hatchling, and it will take four hours to receive a Shaleback.<\/p>\n

To get the Shadespiced Plant Fiber recipe, you must learn the Apprentice Tamer Knowledge, which you’ll obtain the blueprint for the Animal Pen. Additionally, you’ll need the Feed Box crafted and placed within the Animal Pen before cooking the Shadespiced Plant Fiber using 100 Plater Fibers and one Shadebloom Flower.<\/p>\n
