Wondering how you can escape from and then beat the Turret Truck<\/strong>, dubbed as the Tank in The Last of Us (TLOU) Part 1<\/a>? Sure you are, especially if you are a PC gamer jumping into the boots of Joel and Ellie for the first time on PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store.<\/p>\n

This guide explains how you can escape the Tank in TLOU Part 1<\/strong> on PC when you encounter it for the first time and how you can finally beat this The Last of Us Tank boss fight later on in the game, so let’s get clicking…<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong> If you do not want to get infected by spoilers, be warned that our guide on defeating the Tank boss encounter in TLOU Part 1 does contain them.<\/pre>\n<\/p>\n
Escape Turret Truck Tank in TLOU Part 1 Pittsburgh<\/h2>\n

Towards the end of The Last of Us Part 1’s story, Chapter 5, entitled Pittsburgh, the hunters that you’ve been fighting the entire chapter will call on a Turrent Truck, aka Tank, to take down the player, raining bullets on Ellie and Joel.<\/p>\n
You can’t defeat TLOU Part 1’s Tank at this point, and you will need to escape instead. The tank first appears in a courtyard featuring two big buildings. Both these buildings are occupied by hunters, so sneak to the first one and take them out, then cross the courtyard to the building on the opposite side.<\/p>\n

If you are spotted, try to dodge the Tank’s fire, using vehicles as cover. Head through the second building until you enter an alley. From here, run down the alley dodging Tank fire, and move to the right into another building, then head upstairs, past a walkway outside, and into a window, where you will meet brothers Henry and Sam. <\/p>\n
