In Elden Ring, there are a lot of different enemies that are in the game. There are a lot of monster enemies that can be very unpredictable, and there are humanoid enemies that can be tricky to deal with as well. The Black Knife Assassin is a humanoid enemy that can turn invisible<\/strong>. If he sneaks up behind you, he will grab you and stab right through you, dealing massive damage.<\/p>\n

The best way to prevent that is to know where he is at all times so he cannot sneak up on you. To do that, you need to pay attention to the environment around you<\/strong>. So long as you are keeping track of him, the Black Knife Assassin is not too hard to defeat. You will need to swing your weapon a couple of times at him, then back off to prepare for his attacks. Using wide-swinging attacks<\/strong> is usually the best because it will maximize the range you have and will let you attack him easier. Spells are good, too, because they tend to target him.<\/p>\n

If you are having trouble keeping track of the Black Knife Assassin, you should use Spirit Ashes<\/strong>. Spirit Ashes are essentially the summons that you use throughout the game. The Spirit Ashes will always attack the Black Knife Assassin, even when they are invisible. Use Spirit Ashes to know where they are and then attack as needed.<\/p>\n
