A 2024 release date window for RE8 would then mean a six-year development cycle, which definitely isn&#8217;t out of the question.<\/p>\n<h2>Resident Evil 9 Platforms?<\/h2>\n<p>Again, there is no indication of which platforms Resident Evil 9 will appear on. We do believe it will release on both PC and consoles. Further, since the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which looks fantastic, was still on previous-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), there might be a slight chance that RE9 will be as well.
