With the Legion Timewalking<\/strong> event in World of Warcraft (WoW)<\/a>, heroes of Azeroth can head back to a time they are “not prepared” for. Get it? It was a turbulent time thanks to the demon invasions, and now, you can earn some WoW Dragonflight rewards for experiencing it again, thanks to the Turbulent Timeways mega-event<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This article explains everything you need to know about the WoW Legion Timewalking event, from the precise start and end dates per region to the quest, rewards, dungeons, and bonus reputation WoW Dragonflight players can acquire.<\/p>\n

Update on 10 July 2023:<\/strong> The last WoW Legion Timewalking event ended in May 2023. We will let you know once it returns.<\/pre>\n<\/p>\n
WoW Legion Timewalking: Start\/End Dates & Times<\/h2>\n

The WoW Legion Timewalking event in the US has a start date and time of Tuesday, 18 April 2023, at 08:00 PST<\/strong> for those in the US. Those in Europe can get started with the event on Wednesday, 19 April 2023<\/strong>, following server maintenance at 04:00 UTC.<\/p>\n
The Legion event has an end date and time of 25 April at 07:00 PST  in the US, when server maintenance begins. For those in Europe, it is Wednesday, 26 April 2023, at 03:00 UTC.<\/p>\n
To join the Timewalking event, you can open your Group Finder and select Dungeon Finder, then search for Timewalking.<\/p>\n
Legion Timewalking Rewards & Quest<\/h2>\n

There’s a quest for this World of Warcraft Timewalking event. You can pick it up from Kazra in Valdrakken. If you don’t like traveling, you can start the quest with your Adventure Guide. Open it up by pressing “Shift+J<\/strong>” as the default hotkey combo. It tasks you with completing five (5) Legion Timewalking dungeons.<\/p>\n
The Heroic Vault of the Incarnates loot is only available for the Legion Timewalking event for the week starting 18 April 2023 with item level 402-411 loot. The next Timewalking event for the legion expansion will revert back to offering 389 Cache of Vault Treasures.<\/p>\n
Remember, while Timewalking is active, you will gain a 50% bonus to reputations earned from quests and creature kills for all reputations associated with the corresponding expansion. <\/p>\n
WoW Dungeons for Legion Timewalking Event<\/h2>\n

There’s a total of six Legion Timewalking dungeons. To join, open your Group Finder and select Dungeon Finder, then type “Timewalking in the dropdown menu. From here, you can find a group for one of the Heroic Legion dungeons. We’ve listed the dungeons below, accompanied by their official descriptions, just in case you don’t remember all of them.<\/p>\n
Black Rook Hold <\/strong>– “<\/strong>Carved from the greatest mountain of Val’sharah by ancient elven masons, Black Rook Hold stood as a bulwark against the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients. The nigh-impregnable fortress is also the ancestral home of Lord Kur’talos Ravencrest, one-time mentor of Illidan himself. But since the latest Legion attack, a strange dark energy emanates from the Hold, and restless dead plague the surrounding lands.”<\/p>\n
Court of Stars <\/strong>– “<\/strong>Even as Legion troops patrol the streets, casting a pall over the grand city of Suramar, the socialites of the Nightborne nobility continue to cling to custom and routine. On this clear night, the cry of revelers echoes through the chill air, as the largest mansion in the Noble District opens its doors for a grand gala. Rumor has it that Grand Magistrix Elisande herself may be making an appearance, in an effort to reassure several of her closest allies despite recent turmoil.”<\/p>\n
Darkheart Thicket <\/strong>– “<\/strong>In the shadow of Shaladrassil, the Nightmare permeates every inch of the once-lush forest. Where the eldest and greatest druids once tended to the woods, meditating beneath the great world tree, corruption and madness now reign. Deep within the tangled thicket, the Nightmare Lord Xavius works to break the will of his greatest prize.”<\/p>\n
Eye of Azshara <\/strong>– “<\/strong>Amidst outlying shoals off the coast of Azsuna, an ancient source of power lies beneath the waves. Long ago, the power of Queen Azshara extended throughout these lands, and the naga seeking the Tidestone of Golganneth still act at her behest. As clouds roll in and the air crackles with the energy of an approaching storm, Azshara’s followers prepare to summon an incarnation of her Wrath to lay waste to the land.”<\/p>\n
Neltharion’s Lair <\/strong>– “The Earth Warder Neltharion, later known as Deathwing, once called this cavern home. Since his fall, the drogbar that once worshipped the great dragon built their capital within this ancient lair. Now, Dargrul, chieftain of the drogbar, rallies a massive army within these depths. Bolstered by the Hammer of Khaz’goroth, this army will surge from the mountainside if left unchecked, devastating Highmountain and threatening the security of all Azeroth.”<\/p>\n
Vault of the Wardens <\/strong>– “<\/strong>This secret Warden facility was carved into the mountainside deep in Azsuna, and sealed with magical wards both to keep intruders out, and to ensure that the terrors locked within could never escape. Many of the most dangerous foes the Wardens have encountered were locked away within the Vault, but in the aftermath of Cordana’s betrayal and the Legion’s attack, those creatures now roam the halls freely.”<\/p>\n
