Luckily for you, it is not too difficult to get the Bastard Sword in Elden Ring. Players must first make it to the Weeping Peninsula<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From there, you will need to reach the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace<\/strong>. Once you are there, you should see a Nomadic Merchant. Speak to the merchant, and they will have the Bastard Sword for sale. Luckily, it is not too expensive to get this weapon. Make sure you have 3000 Runes, and you are good to go.<\/p>\n

Now that you have the Bastard Sword let us take a deeper look at it. The Bastard Sword requires players to have 16 points in strength and 10 points in dexterity<\/strong> to use it. It scales with both strength and dexterity. It is a greatsword that has 138 physical in the attack stat at its base and 100 points in crit. When guarding, the Bastard sword has 50 points for physical defense and 35 for all magic types except light, which only has 15 defensive points for.<\/p>\n

Although the Bastard Sword scales with both strength and dexterity, the scaling will get better with strength as you upgrade it. At level 25, the Bastard Sword will have 338 physical damage<\/strong> with a C-rating in strength and a D-scaling in dexterity. The Bastard is very versatile as well. You can give it a lot of different affinities to suit your play style, and the Bastard Sword will do well with nearly any affinity. On top of that, you can embed the Bastard Sword with a lot of different skills as well.<\/p>\n
