As we get closer to the release date, Nintendo has shown off more and more of the game through various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-gameplay-trailer\">trailers<\/a>. With these trailers, we now further understand what to expect from Tears of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the trailers, Nintendo showed that players will get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom\/ascend\">new powers<\/a> to use in this upcoming game. One of the abilities that Link will get is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom\/fuse-ability\">Fuse ability<\/a>. Fusing allows players to combine items to make new weapons to use. In several of the trailers, you can see Link with <strong>various fused weapons<\/strong> to show off what can be done in the game. It seems that there are near-limitless combinations. With that in mind here is a list of all the Fuse weapons in Tears of the Kingdom that have been shown off:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tree Branch + Boulder<\/li>\n<li>Long Stick + Farmer&#8217;s Pitchfork<\/li>\n<li>Arrow + Korok Fond<\/li>\n<li>Arrow + White Chuchu Jelly<\/li>\n<li>Arrow + Keese Eyeball<\/li>\n<li>Shield + Puffshroom<\/li>\n<li>Wooden Stick + Log<\/li>\n<li>Old Wooden Shield + Rock<\/li>\n<li>Sword + Shield<\/li>\n<li>Arrow + Ruby<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you can see above, there are a lot of different combinations that can be done for fusions. It seems that the Fuse ability can attach objects to<strong> weapons, arrows, and shields<\/strong>. It also looks like you can take items from your inventory and fuse them to your weapons or you can take random objects and fuse them as well. On top of that, any of the items, like the Boulder, could have gone on any weapon, arrow, or shield. (Picture: Nintendo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1gut86ebb3\"><strong>What Do Fusing Items Do In Tears Of The Kingdom?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In theory, fusing items makes them stronger and more durable. Sometimes, your weapons will <strong>gain additional effects <\/strong>by fusing them. For example, the Tree Branch + Boulder combination not only fixed the durability of the Tree Branch, but it made it stronger and more durable. This is great for the early game as you will likely not have a lot of weapons at your disposal at first.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, fusing items together gives your materials special effects. For example, the <strong>Arrow + Keese Eyeball creates an arrow that has a homing effect<\/strong>. Why this happens has not been made clear just yet.
