With that in mind, players are finally about to get their hands on Tears of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to the highly successful The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild won the game of the year in the 2017 Game Awards and was highly successful despite how many of your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom\/shrines\">weapons broke<\/a> in the game. There are a lot of different reasons why you should play Breath of the Wild first. First is that Breath of the Wild is widely acclaimed to be one of the best video games of all time.<\/p>\n<p>Missing out on Breath of the Wild is a disservice to yourself as you are missing a big piece of gaming history. There is also the fact that <strong>Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild<\/strong>. Nintendo has had a couple of different games in the past that were direct sequels gamers did not need to play the prequel before buying the sequel.<\/p>\n<p>For example, players did not have to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time before playing Majora&#8217;s Mask. Players also did not have to play Mario Galaxy 1 before playing Mario Galaxy 2. Although players did not have to play Pikmin 1 before Pikmin 2, playing the original certainly helped them understand the game better.
