Deciding to do so isn&rsquo;t necessary to further the plot and won&rsquo;t provide anything but XP for completing the task. It mostly just results in a very humbling experience for you, as you swiftly become a laughing stock once you reveal the item&rsquo;s loss.<\/p>\n<p>While a wholly funny interaction, reporting the badge missing to Precinct 41 can also force you to tell the team about your missing gun and automatically <strong>start the &lsquo;Find Your Gun&rsquo; task.
