The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced<\/a> that Epic Games’ popular battle royale esports title Fortnite will be added to the inaugural “sport shooting” lineup at the Olympic Esports Series 2023. This addition brings the total number of sports and games involved in the series to ten, with Fortnite’s debut marking a significant milestone for esports and gaming as a whole. The Olympic Esports Series 2023, organized by the IOC in collaboration with International Federations (IFs) and game publishers, culminates with the Olympic Esports Finals 2023 in Singapore, taking place from June 22-25 this year.<\/p>\n
