It’s time to go down in the muck it seems. A new Destiny 2 Season of the Deep teaser trailer has been released to show off Season 21 of the beloved MMORPG, and it’s time to take a deep breath as we head under the sea.

In the new season players will be going back to the planet Titan, a location previously vaulted by Bungie a few years back. In fairness, Bungie previously explained this narratively by suggesting the planet had been taken over by The Witness armada of Black Fleet pyramid ships.

The teaser also confirms what many players might have already noticed, Commander Sloane is still alive and is set to return. This was previously hinted at in some artwork, but in the new teaser we also hear Sloan over an intercom, radioing for help: “If there are any Guardians listening, this is Deputy Commander Sloane requesting emergency support”.

In the teaser artwork fans also noticed that she was sporting a new Taken-infected arm-, and we’ll be curious to know if this will factor into the seasonal story and whatever creature is hiding beneath the waters of Titan.
