In fact, this version of the game adds some new methods that weren&#8217;t possible in Don&#8217;t Starve. Here&#8217;s a look at all the ways to get them:<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h0j9tmv05\">Kill Clockwork Mobs<\/h3>\n<p>There are several different mobs in Don&#8217;t Starve Together, including Clockwork Knights, Bishops, and Rooks. All of them will drop 2 Gears when killed, making this a highly reliable way to get Gears. However, you&#8217;ll have to remember that these mobs do not respawn, so once they&#8217;re dead, you&#8217;ll have to find an alternative way to get gears. In the early game, this is the best way to get them.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h0j9tmv06\">Dig Up Graves<\/h3>\n<p>If you run out of mobs to kill or just want to try out another method to earn more Gears, you can also dig up Graves for a 3.07% chance of landing a Gear. While you won&#8217;t always get Gears this way, it&#8217;s fairly reliable. Like mobs, though, Graves don&#8217;t respawn, so you can easily run out of them if you aren&#8217;t careful.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1h0j9tmv07\">Tumbleweed<\/h3>\n<p>In some versions of Don&#8217;t Stave Together, Gears are hard to come by later on, once you run out of mobs and graves. In Don&#8217;t Starve Together, though, you can actually get unlimited Gears by taking the right approach.<\/p>\n<p>The last method to getting Gears in Don&#8217;t Starve Together is specific to this edition of the game; you can find items from Tumbleweed, which spawn fairly often and have a relatively high chance of giving you Gears. Check every Tumbleweed you can to maximize the number of Gears &#8211; and other resources &#8211; you earn.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all you&#8217;ll need to do to get Gears in Don&#8217;t Starve Together.
