The same office also ordered a fine of 2.5 million yen (&#36;17,800) and a penalty of 170 million yen (&#36;1.21 million). It was claimed that Yuji Naka &#8216;showed no signs of remorse&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Yuji Naka&#8217;s defense has requested that the fine be reduced in addition to the sentence itself being suspended. A final decision isn&#8217;t expected until 7 July.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Yuji Naka is mainly known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, with Naka serving as the president of Sonic Team until 2006.
