Dungeons in Diablo 4<\/a> are underground labyrinths full of vicious enemy encounters, environmental puzzles, and gruesome bosses. Some Dungeons are also the source of Codex of Power, which you can imprint infinite times on your rare or legendary gear.<\/p>\n

The Rimescar Cavern Dungeon is one of the most challenging early-game Dungeons <\/a>in the game. This guide explains everything you need to know about this Dungeon in Diablo 4, including its location, how to beat the boss, and the rewards you get on completion. <\/p>\n

Diablo 4 Rimescar Cavern Dungeon Location<\/h2>\n

You can find the Rimescar Cavern Dungeon on the eastern side of the Fractured Peaks region<\/a>. The entrance to this Dungeon can be unlocked after clearing the Malok Stronghold. You can find the exact location of Rimescar Cavern in the screenshot below.  <\/p>\n

How to clear Diablo 4 Rimescar Cavern Dungeon <\/h2>\n

Although Dungeon difficulty scale according to your character’s current level, we recommend not venturing into the Rimescar Cavern Dungeon until you’re at least level 26 and have unlocked the Ultimate Ability of your class. That said, if you had managed to clear the Malok Stronghold, this shouldn’t be very challenging. <\/p>\n

Your primary objective in this ice-filled cave is to destroy three Sacrificial Flesh. These are Elite enemies that surprisingly soak up a ton of damage. What’s more, you will quickly get surrounded by a ton of enemies, including hard-hitting Arctic bears. <\/p>\n

If you have a ranged build, we recommend keeping some distance and clearing the minions first using any AOE and CC skills. After that, focus on the bear, and make sure to activate armor (or dodge) when it prepares its lunging attack. Destroy all three Sacrificial Flesh and reach the final area of the Dungeon where Khazra Abomination boss awaits you. <\/p>\n

How to beat Diablo 4 Rimescar Cavern Dungeon Boss Khazra Abomination <\/h2>\n

Khazra Abomination has three primary attacks you need to watch out for. The first is a claw-swinging attack, which, although it doesn’t have much radius, can hurt you significantly if you’re near it. If you’re using a melee character, get ready to dodge. <\/p>\n

The second attack is similar to the first one, except this time, the boss slams its claws on the ground. While it does more damage than the first maneuver, you get more time to dodge it.
The third is a run-and-smash attack that you need to watch out for if you’re playing a long-ranged Sorcerer or Rogue. Thankfully, you can easily dodge this one, so there’s not much to worry about. <\/p>\n

Like most Dungeon bosses, Khazra Abomination will cover the ground in poison pools, so try not to step on them. Remain mobile, avoid its attacks, and use the right combination of skills to take down this boss. <\/p>\n

Diablo 4 Rimescar Cavern Dungeon Rewards<\/h2>\n

Clearing the Rimescar Cavern Dungeon will get you 30 Renown Points. Defeating the final boss will also drop gold, rare loot, and a ton of XP. Defeating Arctic Bears may also drop Legendary gear if luck’s on your side. Most importantly, the first clear of this Dungeon will unlock the Aspect of Plunging Darkness for the Necromancer class. <\/p>\n
