Like with the previous games in&nbsp;the series,&nbsp;Assassin&#8217;s Creed: Valhalla <strong>Season Pass<\/strong> will include several DLC story mission packs.<\/p>\n<p>The Season Pass DLCs will likely add new regions,&nbsp;characters, stories,&nbsp;quests, and enemies to fight, as well as new customisation options and equipment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rpg\/diablo-2-remaster-diablo-2-resurrected-remasteredhttps:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rpg\/diablo-2-remaster-diablo-2-resurrected-remastered\" target=\"_blank\">Diablo 2 remaster coming in late 2020, according to a rumour<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks to the&nbsp;oversight at&nbsp;the German Uplay Store, we now know what will be the first DLC story mission. It is called <strong>The Legend of Beowulf<\/strong>, named after the famous Old English epic poem from the early Middle Ages.<\/p>\n<p>This information is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/store.ubi.com\/de\/assassin-s-creed-valhalla-ultimate-edition\/5e84a5065cdf9a21c0b4e737.html?edition=Ultimate%20Edition\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Assassin&#8217;s Creed: Valhalla Ultimate Edition<\/a> page, under the&nbsp;Season Pass section. There, it says: &#8220;Includes the story mission: The Legend of Beowulf. Discover the cruel truth behind the legend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Assassin's Creed: Valhalla The Legend of Beowulf DLC\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/_KON-VvzS3brXV3-mjwsCO18xh_bj6BhNvo2uZmaOi8\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05pa29sYV9TYXZpJUM0JTg3L1RoZV9MZWdlbmRfb2ZfQmVvd3VsZi5QTkc\" style=\"width: 1024px; height: 634px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"634\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>This looks like the oversight from someone who manages the German page since this information can&#8217;t be found on the English version of the Uplay store. Instead, there&#8217;s just a generic &#8220;immersive Story Mission&#8221; placeholder, but from there we can&nbsp;find out that this mission will be available at launch as the first DLC story mission.<\/p>\n<p>Beowulf is one of the most famous English epic poems and&nbsp;is set in Scandinavia in the 6th century. It tells a story of Beowulf, a hero of the Geats, who comes to the aid of Hrothgar, the king of the Danes.&nbsp;The monster,&nbsp;known as Grendel, is attacking king&#8217;s&nbsp;mead hall in Heorot, but&nbsp;Beowulf slays him and his mother, who came to avenge&nbsp;her son&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Assassin's Creed Valhalla The Legend of Beowulf \" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/bFXXzdNQwkmU29jh89-rr9Ss02sj_ltTKjWmYXlnHJ4\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05pa29sYV9TYXZpJUM0JTg3L0Fzc2Fzc2luX3NfQ3JlZWRfVmFsaGFsbGFfdGV4dC5qcGc\" style=\"width: 1024px; height: 576px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>After that, he goes back home to&nbsp;Geatland (today&nbsp;G&ouml;taland in Sweden), and there he becomes king of the Geats. Much later, in his old age, he beats a mighty dragon, but is mortally wounded in the battle and dies shortly after.
