This guide pinpoints all the Mystery Chest spawn locations in Diablo 4’s Helltide endgame events, alongside how you can open them (Aberrant Cinder cost) and the rewards players get in terms of a tonne of items, so let’s get started.<\/p>\n

All Mystery Chest Spawn Locations in D4 Helltides<\/h2>\n

In Fractured Peaks, Dry Steppes, Hawezar, and Scosglen, there are four possible spawn locations, but only two are active at the same time!<\/p>\n
In Kehjistan, there are four spawn locations, and three can be active at the same time. Therefore, the map above shows you the possible spawn locations, but there might not be one at the location you are traveling to. Unlike other Tortured Gifts in Helltides, the Tortured Gifts of Mysteries do not show up on your map until you stumble onto them.<\/p>\n

Diablo 4 Mystery Chest Spawn Times Explained:<\/h3>\n
It is very important to note that Mystery Chests reset every hour. For example, if a Helltide is active from 15:15 to 16:15, the Mystery Chests will reset at 16:15. During a spawn like this, there are two Mystery Chest spawn times, which means more loot!<\/p>\n
How To Open Diablo 4’s Mystery Chests in Helltides<\/h2>\n

The Tortured Gifts of Mysteries, aka Mystery Chests for short in Diablo 4, can be opened by spending 175 Aberrant Cinders. That’s quite a lot, but you can farm at least two during a Helltide.<\/p>\n
Note that on death, you lose half your Aberrant Cinders, and if the Helltide ends before you spend them, you lose them entirely. From our experience, we suggest finding the location of a Mystery Chest first, then farming around it until you have 175 aberrant Cinders, and swiftly making your way to the chest to claim those tasty rewards.<\/p>\n
Diablo 4 Tortured Gifts of Mysteries Rewards <\/h2>\n
When you open Tortured Gifts of Mysteries, you can brace yourself for a huge amount of shiny loot. These chests drop four to five random Legendary items, and depending on the difficulty, they can be Sacred (World Tier 3 or above) or Ancestral (World Tier 4). There’s also a chance of a Unique item dropping. <\/p>\n
Furthermore, players get a tonne of crafting materials. This includes a lot of Forgotten Souls, a rare crafting resource used to upgrade Sacred and Ancestral items. Trust us; you will want to get as many Forgotten Souls as possible.  Yes, the Tortured Gifts of Mysteries provides players with the most loot in Helltides, so don’t miss out.<\/p>\n
