Did you know there are super, ultra-rare Unique items in Diablo 4<\/a><\/strong>? Some still believe these items are just a myth, while others have seen confirmation of the first ones dropping. Some of these items, such as the Harlequin Crest<\/strong>, which provides +4 to all skills, are in every “best” character build, but how do you actually get them?<\/p>\n

This guide explains how you can possibly get an ultra-rare Unique item in Diablo 4, what level they start dropping at, the Item Power level they roll at, and more, so let’s get farming knowledge!<\/p>\n

Please note: <\/strong>Blizzard’s Adam Jackson shared images of these Unique items on social media. Stats can roll higher or lower, but the Item Power level remains the same.<\/em><\/p>\n

What Are Ultra-Rare Uniques in Diablo 4?<\/h2>\n

There are six ultra-rare Unique items in Diablo 4. These Uniques are so rare that after hundreds of millions of combined hours played since launch, many of them still do not have a confirmed drop. The ultra-rare Unique items are so elusive that many players have wondered if they actually exist in Diablo 4.<\/p>\n
Well, they do; These items just have such a low chance to drop and only drop after a certain level that many players might never get one…The ultra-rare Uniques in Diablo 4 are:<\/p>\n

  • The Grandfather (2H Sword)<\/li>\n
  • Doombringer (1H Sword)<\/li>\n
  • Ring of Starless Skies (Ring)<\/li>\n
  • Andariel’s Visage (Helm)<\/li>\n
  • Harlequin Crest (Helm) aka Shako for D2 fans!<\/li>\n
  • Melted Heart of Selig (Amulet)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Diablo 4’s Lead Class Designer, Adam Jackson, took to Twitter<\/a> to share the six ultra-rare Uniques in Diablo 4, as well as some interesting information which we will discuss further in this article, including their Item Power (iPower) and how you can possibly get them.<\/p>\n
    Diablo 4 Super-Rare Uniques Item Power Level<\/h2>\n

    Diablo 4’s final Item Power breakpoint range (for Ancestral items) is 725+. That’s already very, very powerful items, even in Rare quality. Well, the Diablo 4 super-rare Uniques have…drumroll please…an Item Power level of 820<\/strong>! <\/p>\n
    Adam Jackson confirmed this on Twitter, stating: “they always drop at 820 iPower”<\/p>\n
    If you do get a super-rare Unique drop, these will probably be the best-in-slot for your character (until more are added with future seasons or expansions), and you can craft an entire build around them. <\/p>\n
    How To Get Diablo 4’s Rarest Uniques<\/h2>\n

    First up, you will have to get extremely lucky to get one of these super-rare Unique items. In fact, at the time of writing on 26 June 2023, there are no confirmed Grandfather drops. There are only two confirmed Shako (Harlequin Crest) drops in the world after hundreds of millions of combined hours played.<\/p>\n
    Here are some facts about these super-rare Uniques in Diablo 4 as per Adam Jackson:<\/p>\n
      \n
    • They can drop from level 85+ enemies.<\/li>\n
    • You get them anywhere you can get a regular Unique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      This means there is no easy way to get them. It is up to luck. However, we do suggest doing Nightmare Dungeons as a possible way of getting one above any other endgame content.<\/p>\n
      Monsters in Nightmare Dungeons with Tier 30 Sigils<\/a> are level 85, but for safety, we suggest going for Tier 31 or higher runs. The reason why Nightmare Dungeons are better when trying to farm one of these ultra-rare Uniques in Diablo 4 is simple. After completing the dungeon, you get items as a reward, and we’ve seen many normal Uniques as rewards. Therefore, while the rarest Uniques in Diablo 4 can drop anywhere, you give yourself an additional chance by completing Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 31 or higher.<\/p>\n
