For the longest time, rumors have been flying around a first-person mode<\/a> coming to Fortnite<\/a>. Epc Games’ long-running Battle Royale has undergone plenty of changes over its run, including adding in Zero Build<\/a>: a mode which removes Fortnite’s core building mechanic from regular play. If something as intrinsic to Fortnite as building can be altered, then it’s no surprise that players are expecting a change to the game’s camera perspective.<\/p>\n Fortnite is currently played in a third-person perspective only. Other Battle Royales on the market either offer players the option to switch between third- and first-person, or locks them to first-person (Apex Legends<\/a>, we’re looking at you). But fans have been hoping for a first-person camera to make its way into Fortnite for some time, and rumors and leaks have been emerging for years. <\/p>\n Now, according to a brand new leak, the long anticipated feature could be arriving with the game’s next chapter, Fortnite Chapter 5. <\/p>\n According to one of Fortnite’s Senior Producers, Epic Games has been working on first-person mode for some time.
