Call of Duty<\/a> is reportedly set to get a new mainline entry in 2023, which many have believed to be Modern Warfare 2. Various outlets have previously suggested that the game would launch in November this year but no official date had been given by Activision. Now, following continued progress of the FTC vs Microsoft case, a federal judge has seemingly leaked the official release month.<\/p>\n

Federal Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley, who is overseeing the case, revealed that Call of Duty’s 2023 title is expected to launch in November, as previously speculated. In response to the slip up, the official Call of Duty Twitter account<\/a> simply posted a vague “eyes” emoji. <\/p>\n

While this isn’t an official confirmation from Activision, with the date being thrown around as part of the FTC vs Microsoft court case, it’s safe to assume that there’s truth to the leak. Activision’s response only serves to further claim. <\/p>\n

According to outlet Insider Gaming<\/a>, Activision is expected to announce the new Call of Duty title in August, 2023. Beta weekends are expected to occur in October, with one weekend dedicated to PlayStation players and another across PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
