To start, the beginning of each ranked season of TFT begins with each new set. The<strong> ranked season ends when the set changes for TFT<\/strong>. For example, if you are playing ranked during Set 8 and you are now in Set 8.5, you will not get a full-rank wipe. You will only be <strong>knocked down one rank lower than your current rank when the midset starts<\/strong>. Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger players will be knocked back to Diamond though.<\/p>\n<p>If you are playing ranked during a midset and the next set is a brand-new set for TFT, things will be different. For example, if you were playing in Set 8.5 and you are now playing in Set 9, you will recieve <strong>a full rank reset<\/strong>.
