It ran the game beautifully before the Denuvo patch,&#8221; says Reddit user Octiceps <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/pcgaming\/comments\/gl4rsy\/doom_eternal_is_now_unplayable_on_my_system_it\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">about&nbsp;Denuvo Anti-Cheat<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He further explains his situation: &#8220;Constant, massive stuttering. Horrendous screen tearing despite having G-Sync. Locks my 120Hz display at 60Hz, both in-game and on the Windows desktop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This is only one of many reports from the last few days.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/782330\/DOOM_Eternal\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">DOOM Eternal is currently being review-bombed<\/a> on Steam because many people owning the game aren&#8217;t happy with this change.<\/p>\n<p>Many players are experiencing that their antivirus software is detecting Denuvo Anti-Cheat as a virus.
