In these two games, players can get the Old Rod, Good Rod, and Super Rod to fish up some Pokemon. How To Find The Old Rod In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first rod you will want to find in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl<\/a> is the Old Rod. The Old Rod will only allow you to fish up Magikarp in these two games, but it is a start that you should definitely have. To get it, you will need to travel to Jubilife City<\/strong>. Once you are there, you will head west and get into the Route Connector Station. You will see a Fisherman there. Speak to him, and he will gift you the Old Rod.<\/p>\n

How To Find The Good Rod In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If you want to get the next fishing rod, you will want to find the Good Rod. The Good Rod will allow you to catch Pokemon like Barboach and Goldeen. You can even catch Feebas with this rod. To get the Good Rod, go to Hearthome City and head East until you are on Route 209<\/strong>. On the first dock, you will see a Fisherman. Talk to him, and he will gift you a Good Rod so you can fish up better Pokemon.<\/p>\n

Finding the Super Rod is great because you can fish up Pokemon like Dratini, Relicanth, and Corphish as well. But you will have to first beat the main game and receive the National Pokedex before you can get the Super Rod<\/strong>. Once you do that, you need to go to Snowpoint City and talk to the Sailor<\/strong> at the dock. He will then ship you to the Battle Zone.
