(Picture: Blizzard)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A rather credible leak has suggested that Blizzard has already begun development on StarCraft 3. This information comes from journalist Jez Corden (Managing Editor at Windows Central, who, in a now-deleted tweet, basically confirmed StarCraft 3 is currently in development.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/insider-gaming.com\/starcraft-3-is-reportedly-in-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">report<\/a> by Insider Gaming, Jez Corden answered a fan question on Twitter, stating that Microsoft does not need to revive the StarCraft franchise. Corden then answered, &#8220;Yep,&#8221; when asked if he knew something about StarCraft 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before the tweets were deleted, Redditor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GamingLeaksAndRumours\/comments\/14zctzh\/this_seemed_to_slip_by_this_subreddit_but_jez\/?utm_source=ifttt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">u\/SharkyIzrod managed to transcribe<\/a> the public conversation on Twitter between Jez Corden and a follower, which you can read below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>@Justin5037: Favorite WOW memory and do you think Xbox will have any interest in reviving StarCraft if the deal goes through?<\/li>\n<li>@JezCorden: Msft won&#8217;t need to revive starcraft<\/li>\n<li>@BacTeRiiA_TV: Star Craft 3?<\/li>\n<li>@JezCorden: Yep<\/li>\n<li>@BacTeRiiA_TV: You know anything? &#128557;<\/li>\n<li>@JezCorden: Yep<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This strongly suggests that StarCraft 3 is indeed in development.
