The Malefic Ape has three weaknesses. These are Fire, Ice, and Wind. <\/strong>Players will want to bring a team consisting of characters with some of these Elements in order to inflict Weakness Break successfully. <\/p>\n

Mechanics<\/h3>\n

The Malefic Ape has an ability that places a target on any character that uses a Skill. The Ape will then deal massive single-target DMG to that character if the ape has stacks of Gusto. Players will want to make sure that they use tanks and healers to draw the attention of the Monitor debuff and prevent their DPS units from being one-shot. After 3 turns, players will be able to use Skills again as the ape will become Exhausted. <\/p>\n

This boss battle also has the chance to summon additional enemies, which will need to be dealt with alongside the Malefic Ape. It is best to deal with enemies that summon more enemies as soon as possible in order to ensure you are not fighting an endless horde of enemies. Take down the trash mobs and then focus your attention on the Malefic Ape itself. <\/p>\n
