The Grandfather<\/strong> is an iconic two-handed sword in the Diablo franchise, and in Diablo 4, everyone that can equip it will want to get this Uber Unique item.<\/p>\n

The Uber Uniques in Diablo 4<\/a>, however, are so rare that Blizzard actually needed to confirm they exist in the game! In this guide, we will outline The Grandfather’s stats, who got the world’s first drop, and how you can possibly get one.<\/p>\n

How To Get The Grandfather Unique 2H Sword in Diablo 4<\/h2>\n

We are just going to pull off the bandaid right now. You will probably never get The Grandfather to drop in Diablo 4. You will have to be exceptionally lucky to get this Uber Unique two-handed sword.<\/p>\n

The Grandfather can drop anywhere you can get a regular Unique item from. The caveat is enemies have to be level 85+<\/strong>. To slightly increase your chances, we suggest running Nightmare Dungeons Tier 31 and above.<\/p>\n

The reason for this is that after completing the dungeon, you get items as a reward, and we’ve seen many normal Uniques as rewards. Therefore, you give yourself an additional chance by completing Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 31 or higher. Additionally, you can target-farm a bit every time a Helltide rises and open two-handed weapon chests.<\/p>\n

    The other properties on this weapon can roll higher than normal. A bit of flavor text reads: “An unbroken lineage of unwavering strength.”<\/p>\n

    The world first The Grandfather drop occurred on the Asia server for a Necromancer. This drop occurred on 28 June 2023, nearly a month after the release of Diablo 4, and after gamers have put in millions of hours collectively.<\/p>\n
