The news that every Call of Duty<\/a> fan was waiting for: Activision have announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be launching in November, 2023<\/a>. This next installment in this long-running franchise will continue the rebooted narrative of Modern Warfare 2, while bringing in a new wave of content to the free-to-play battle royale Warzone.<\/p>\n

While the majority of players are eager to see more from the upcoming title in terms of gameplay, there are a number of other housekeeping issues<\/a> that have been raised. Primarily, whay happens to all of your cosmetics and items bought and used in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, now that Modern Warfare 3 is on the way. Fortunately, Activision have taken steps to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible, thanks to the Carry Forward initiative.<\/p>\n

For the first time in Call of Duty history, a huge amount of content from a previous Modern Warfare title (in this case Modern Warfare 2) will be transferred to the next through “Carry Forward.” This means that weapons and other collected\/unlocked content from both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will be available in Modern Warfare 3. But the question arises: how can you tell which items will Carry Forward?<\/p>\n
