It’s about that time of year again. The latest Call of Duty game is set to be released. This time around, it was announced<\/a> that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3<\/strong> is launching November 10, 2023. And with that announcement, there’s been a lot of excitement about what’s to come in the next entry to the Call of Duty series.<\/p>\n

Although there is a lot of excitement for Modern Warfare 3, there are also a lot of different questions that need to be answered. For example, with all of the cosmetics and skins<\/a> that players obtained in Modern Warfare 2, what will happen to them? Here, we will go over what happens to Modern Warfare 2 Operator skins in Modern Warfare 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Will Modern Warfare 2 Operator Skins Carry Over To Modern Warfare 3?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, you can use your Modern Warfare 2 Operator Skins in Modern Warfare 3<\/strong>. Throughout the years, the Call of Duty<\/a> series has evolved in many ways, particularly in how it approaches its sheer number of cosmetics. This includes Operator skins that can be obtained in multiple ways.<\/p>\n

From what we can see, nearly all Operator skins that you have in Modern Warfare 2 will be available in Modern Warfare 3 on day one. The only rule is that you have to have the Operator skin to get it. So if you have not unlocked or purchased a certain Operator skin in Modern Warfare 2, you cannot use it in Modern Warfare 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From what we have seen, the process of using your old Modern Warfare 2 skins in Modern Warfare 3 is pretty simple. Activision has stated that all your old Operator skins will be available to use on day one of Modern Warfare 3. To us, this means that the process is automatic so long as you are using the same account for Modern Warfare 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Just remember that you need to obtain and unlock an Operator skin in Modern Warfare 2 before you can use in Modern Warfare 3.
