Diablo 3 Season 29 (Visions of Enmity)<\/a> is the final season that the iconic ARPG will get brand-new content, and developer Blizzard isn’t pulling any punches! Amongst other things, Diablo 3 will finally get a “singleplayer” mode called Solo Self Found.<\/p>\n

In this article, we explain what the Diablo 3 Solo Self Found mode is all about, when you can expect to enjoy it, and what the developer has to say about this highly-requested option for players who love slaying the hordes of the Burning Hells alone.<\/p>\n

Diablo 3 Solo Self Found Mode Release Date<\/h2>\n

With the PTR for Season 29 now underway, we expect the new Diablo 3 season to begin on 8 September 2023. As soon as Diablo 3 Season 29 releases, you will be able to enjoy the Solo Self Found mode. Expect Diablo 3 Season 29 to start at 17:00 server time. This is regardless of region, so Season 29 will start at 5pm PDT in North America, 5pm CEST in Europe, and 5pm KST in Asia.<\/p>\n

If you want to test out the Diablo 3 Solo Self Found mode before its official release, you can join the PTR for patch 2.7.6, which is running from 15 to 29 August 2023.<\/p>\n

What is Solo Self Found (Singleplayer) Mode in Diablo 3?<\/h2>\n

The Solo Self Found mode is exactly what it sounds like. Diablo 3 is finally getting a “singleplayer” mode. However, this still requires an always online connection, so it is not to be confused with offline singleplayer. Below, you’ll find some details about the Diablo 3 Solo Self Found mode.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Both Hardcore and Normal are available.<\/li>\n
  • No trading.<\/li>\n
  • Specific Leaderboards for Solo Self Found.<\/li>\n
  • Campaign and Adventure Mode are available.<\/li>\n
  • Only the Private Game option will be available to use.<\/li>\n
  • No ability to join a party or start the mode in a party.<\/li>\n
  • Rebirthing is available for Solo Self Found.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Blizzard explains the caveats and how to create a character in Solo Self Found mode for Diablo 3 once Season 29 gets underway:<\/p>\n

    To create a character in Solo Self Found, select the Solo Hero option in the character creation screen. You’ll still be able to play the Campaign and Adventure Mode just as you would in other modes, but only the Private Game option will be available to use. Challenge Rifts can be completed with a Party while the mode is seasonal. Solo Self Found is a solitary journey, so you will be unable to start this mode while in a Party or access Multiplayer aspects of Diablo III, such as trading. Rebirthing is available for Solo Self Found.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
