They&#8217;d much rather the developers leave their bad habits alone, bringing them into future games such as 2023&#8217;s <a title=\"Modern Warfare 3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Modern Warfare 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Modern Warfare 3 is being released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3\/soap-operator-pack-all-items-cosmetics-how-to-geet\">alongside great new in-game benefits<\/a>, such as early access and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3\/beta-release-date-early-access-platforms-and-more\">beta access<\/a> when pre-ordering. But players are desperate to get a better understanding of the game&#8217;s mechanics and feel. Thankfully, Activision has released several tweets clarifying movement updates and features within the upcoming title, Modern Warfare 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/0QYowhccxNV4LCWQ4BP1ohm1BlD2okr7w3TH7EsHEHM\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Nb2Rlcm5fV2FyZmFyZV8zL1NjcmVlbnNob3RfMjAyMy0wOC0xNl9hdF8xMC4yNi4wMi5wbmc\" alt=\"Screenshot_2023-08-16_at_10.26.02.png (1\" width=\"1024\" height=\"585\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h2>Modern Warfare 3: All Movement Updates &amp; Slide Canceling&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>The official Call of Duty account <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CallofDuty\/status\/1692233504954745031?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently tweeted<\/a> stating movement updates are being implemented into Modern Warfare 3. Here&#8217;s what to expect, via Twitter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slide animations can be canceled but will not reset Tactical Sprint.<\/li>\n<li>Cancel reload animations to return fire with leftover ammo<\/li>\n<li>Mantle faster and while sprinting<\/li>\n<li>Longer Tactical Sprint durations which recharge while sprinting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As guessed, many players have different opinions about these changes. This is because these particular changes suggest more intense gameplay. For example, the return of slide-canceling invites players to be quicker on their feet and a lot harder to kill &mdash; we all remember the pains of trying tagging someone bouncing about and slide-canceling around the map.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Being able to slide and reload cancel are incredibly dangerous aspects to combine. Faster pace players are going to dominate the battlegrounds, especially within Warzone and closer-quarter maps on Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer. Players can rely less on their combat gameplay and more on their mechanical skill with movements, opening new avenues for gameplay.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The ability to mantle objects faster while sprinting also supports the claim of faster gameplay. It appears that Modern Warfare 3 is aiming for a more agile player experience whilst playing Multiplayer and Warzone, hopefully making things more enjoyable moving away from the sluggish movement system of Modern Warfare 2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the decision to implement slide-canceling once again into Modern Warfare seems excellent. No doubt it&#8217;ll becomea staple movement to nail down.
