Bad luck seemed to follow her there as well as an excavation incident trampled everyone under the snow except her. While she was rescued, the incident gave&nbsp; ice abilities and led her down the path to becoming a Descendant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1h84gh6f15\">Viessa&#8217;s Skills in The First Descendant&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>Viessa is a Debuffer who deals AOE and CC ice damage to enemies. She can also inflict a debuff called Ice Shackle that hinders enemies&#8217; mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Her active skills include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Frost Fog<\/strong>: Increases Running Speed and Shield and creates Ice Sheets on the ground where Viessa stands. When enemies come into contact with these Ice Sheets, they are inflicted with Ice Shackle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ice Wave<\/strong>: Releases an arc of cold air in front, inflicting damage and Ice Shackle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blizzard<\/strong>: Creates a snowstorm that explodes over time, inflicting damage and Ice Shackle on enemies caught within.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Her passive skills include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ice Sphere<\/strong>: Condenses moisture in the atmosphere around the nucleus circling around the body, lowering the temperature.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ice Beam<\/strong>: Fires an exploding Ice Beam, inflicting damage in the area around enemies and inflicting Ice Shackle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1h84gh6f16\">Will Viessa be Playable in The First Descendant Open Beta?<\/h2>\n<p>Viessa should be one of the playable characters in the upcoming First Descendant Open Beta. If you didn&#8217;t know, she was one of the three starting characters in the previous beta, so there&#8217;s no reason why she shouldn&#8217;t be in the upcoming one.
