Dead by Daylight offers survivors few ways to defend themselves from killers outside of perks, making killers a horrifying force in the Fog that requires survivors’ best skills and teamwork to escape. While survivors don’t have many tools at their disposal, the Alien chapter<\/a> introduces new ones: Remote Flame Turrets,<\/strong> which survivors can use against The Xenomorph.<\/p>\n

While they were added to the game alongside Ellen Ripley<\/a>, any survivor can make use of these weapons. Here’s how to use Remote Flame Turrets to protect you and your team from The Xenomorph in Dead by Daylight.<\/p>\n

How To Use Remote Flame Turrets In Dead By Daylight<\/h2>\n

Players can grab a Remote Flame Turret from a Control Station when playing against The Xenomorph<\/a>. With a Remote Flame Turret in hand, survivors will gain a benefit: the ability to hear beeps when The Xenomorph is within 41 meters. It also grants immunity from The Xenomorph’s detection when the killer is in its tunnels. <\/p>\n

That said, players who hold this item also face numerous negative status effects; they’ll be Hindered by 35%, Incapacitated, and Exhausted, rendering them unable to use many of the game’s best perks.<\/p>\n

Players can deploy a Remote Flame Turret after picking it up; when deployed, it’ll still let players know the killer’s location through beeping. It also gains an offensive benefit for survivors when placed, though; it’ll shoot flames at The Xenomorph when the killer is nearby, slowing it and ensuring that it can’t use its Crawler Mode. After hitting The Xenomorph or firing for a few seconds, the turret will overheat, and players will need to repair it for it to function again.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting that The Xenomorph can easily destroy Remote Flame Turrets with a simple attack, so you should ensure that you place them only when you really need them; otherwise, you might end up using your resource to no avail, only to have the killer destroy it instantly.<\/p>\n

Now you know how to use Remote Flame Turrets against The Xenomorph in Dead by Daylight. These weapons can really slow the killer, giving you ample time to repair generators, but they also bear some debuffs when survivors have them on hand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
