With Counter-Strike 2<\/a>, Valve has created a new, accurate CS Rating system, accompanied by Leaderboards<\/a> for players to compete in. This all-new rating system is a breath of fresh air for gamers who have disliked CS:GO’s ELO. <\/p>\n

In this article, we will explain what the CS Rating system is in Counter-Strike 2, how you can earn points, and the requirements, so let’s jump in.<\/p>\n

CS Rating Counter-Strike 2 System Requirements<\/h2>\n

You can only earn CS Rating in Premier Mode. This is the top competitive mode, where players can earn CS Rating and climb the regional\/global leaderboards. You can play it solo or with a group of friends. <\/p>\n

It is important to note that only those with Prime Status and who play Premier Mode matches are eligible for display on the public CS2 Leaderboards.<\/p>\n

The outcome of your Premier Mode matches will drive a new, precise Counter-Strike (CS) Rating. This new CS Rating feeds seasonal leaderboards. Valve announced CS Rating, stating that:<\/p>\n

Your CS Rating is a visible measurement of your Counter-Strike performance, and it will determine where you stand on global and regional leaderboards. To get your CS Rating, play matches in the updated Premier mode (our Active Duty Pick-Ban competitive mode) either on your own or with your friends.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Remember, the Premier Mode in Counter-Strike 2 also features the new match rule, MR12<\/a>. Teams will swap sides after 12 rounds are played, and the match ends after 24 rounds of play. Six additional rounds of overtime are still active in case of a tie.<\/p>\n

The exact number of points or scaling structure for CS Rating has not been revealed at the time of writing. Even so, it is still already in a much better place than CS:GO’s ELO system and we can’t wait to test it out for ourselves.<\/p>\n
