Not every conversation is engaging, but sometimes you can persuade NPCs to get out of a tricky situation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Skyrim or Fallout 4, persuasion in Starfield isn&#8217;t completely tied to skills but instead relies on a mini-game mechanic. Filling the persuasion meter before running out of options will successfully persuade the NPC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These options are color-coded and have a number assigned to them. Grey or Green dialogues have more chance of success. Yellow has a slightly lower chance of success, whereas red can be the least successful. However, a number like 4, 5, or 6 fills up the persuasion meter quickly compared to something like 1 or 2, so sometimes it&#8217;s best to risk it all.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Increase Persuasion in Starfield&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>You can increase your chances of persuading a character in Starfield by unlocking and upgrading the Persuasion skill.
