It is a new year and that means there is a new NBA 2K game to check out. This year, players are getting their hands on NBA 2K24<\/strong> and there is a lot of excitement that fans have for this particular title. There are plenty of different versions<\/a> of the game that are currently available for fans and they want to know if is worth their time and money.<\/p>\n

From what players have seen, there is a lot of new content<\/a> that NBA 2K24 has compared to NBA 2K23. But there is also content that was completely left out as well that fans were hoping would come back. So fans are confused, Should they purchase NBA 2K24, or should they not?<\/strong> Down below, we have a list of reviews for you to check out to help you make that decision.<\/p>\n

Is It Worth Buying NBA 2K24<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NBA 2K24 has had some mixed reactions with the fanbase. (Picture: 2K)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Overall, it depends on what you are looking for. At the time of this writing, there are not too many reviews that are available for this title right now. It does seem like the console version of this game is much more well-received than the PC version. The PC version seems to have a lot of issues that fans cannot get past.<\/p>\n

On top of that, it seems that the game is riddled with microtransactions that fans are not too pleased with. Outside of these issues, the gameplay seems to be much improved <\/strong>and fans are enjoying the actual gameplay itself. But do not take our word for it. Here are some reviewer’s opinions of NBA 2K24.<\/p>\n

NBA 2K24 is easily the most pay-to-win version of the game ever. It’s hard to enjoy this game when it feels like you are at a big disadvantage if you don’t spend money on it.<\/p>\n

You can’t reach 99 OVR<\/strong> with your MyCareer player without spending money, much less be competitive in The Park. If you want to have a good squad in MyTEAM, make sure to get your credit card out, otherwise, you won’t be able to do it.<\/p>\n

The Season Pass became just one more way for 2K to make money. If you don’t have one of the two premium passes, you will be locked out of a plethora of rewards. This only increases the gap between “free-to-play” players and “pay-to-win” users.<\/p>\n

Gameplay seems to be the only good thing about this game. However, it doesn’t feel like enough to make up for the lack of quality in other game modes or features.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

NBA 2K24 isn’t a perfect game. Thus far, no sports game truly is. The nature of athletics is unpredictable and video games have trouble recreating that. NBA 2K24 is so far one of the games to have gotten the closest, and it’s a significant upgrade over previous releases and a good portion of sports games today. The future of hoops gaming is in a great place now.<\/div>\n
