In The Teal Mask, there are plenty of new Pokemon<\/a> for players to check out. From Sinistcha to Ogerpon, there is a good number of Pokemon to consider adding to your team. One of the more exciting aspects for Scarlet and Violet is the new items that were introduced. Namely, competitive players are especially excited about the new Mochi items. Here, we will teach you how to get Mochi in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.<\/p>\n

How To Get Mochi In The Teal Mask DLC In Scarlet And Violet<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There is a lot of new content to check out in The Teal Mask DLC<\/a> for Scarlet and Violet. The key here is to know what to be on the lookout for. Mochi is an useful item if you are into competitive Pokemon battles. To get Mochi, you will have to complete a new minigame called Oger Oustin’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Oger Oustin’ is a new minigame where you will ride Koraidon or Miraidon into balloons. You will pop the balloons to collect berries and then put them down on color-coordinated stands. Players will simply have to complete the minigame to get rewarded. The better players do, the more Mochi they will get which is very useful for those who are into competitive battles.<\/p>\n

What Does Mochi Do In Scarlet And Violet<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When players are training their Pokemon for competitive battles, they need to EV train their Pokemon. Mochi will increase the EVs of a single stat of a Pokemon by 10<\/strong>. This is just as much as medicine items like Carbos or Protein but it is free so long as players are willing to earn the Mochi. Here are the different kinds of Mochi players can get in Scarlet and Violet:<\/p>\n

  • Health Mochi<\/strong> – Increases Pokemon’s Base HP Stat By 10<\/li>\n
  • Swift Mochi<\/strong> – Increases Pokemon’s Base Speed Stat By 10<\/li>\n
  • Muscle Mochi<\/strong> – Increases Pokemon’s Base Attack Stat By 10<\/li>\n
  • Resist Mochi <\/strong>– Increases Pokemon’s Base Defense Stat By 10<\/li>\n
  • Genius Mochi<\/strong> – Increases Pokemon’s Base Special Attack Stat By 10<\/li>\n
  • Clever Mochi<\/strong> – Increases Pokemon’s Base Special Defense Stat By 10<\/li>\n

    The most interesting Mochi that you will want to collect is the Fresh-Start Mochi. Previously, players could only reset stats by intervals of 10 using hard-to-collect berries. Now they can completely reset all of their stats in a single go with the Fresh-Start Mochi<\/strong>.
