The podcast which could be described on it’s best days as “bro-ey” was devoted entirely to the situation unfolding in America, with Logan Paul delivering an earnest plea to his audience to “actively listen”.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n Logan spoke of “educating himself” over the racial injustices that are baked into American society, and feels that he has to do more considering his sizeable audience.<\/p>\n “I have been, not silent, but I have not used my influence the way I should.”<\/p>\n After Logan and his guests laid out how they see the events since George Floyd’s death at the hands of a police officer, which they described as “complicated”, the YouTube star read a prepared statement acknowledging his own white privilege, imploring his audience to hold people accountable, and actively work to end racism.<\/p>\n Logan said: “Listen closely, one of my biggest learnings from all of this and I am embarrassed it has taken me 25 years to realize this: It is not enough to be ‘not racist’.”<\/p>\n He then asked his audience to look at everyone in their life and “condemn those who feign superiority because of the colour of their skin”.<\/p>\n “Hold friends accountable. Hold your family accountable. Hold yourself accountable and most importantly, we must hold our authorities accountable,” he added.<\/p>\n He also had suggestions about how people could enact change, referencing rapper James “Killer Mike” Brown Miller’s impassioned plea<\/a> to “bully the politicians at the voting booth,” delivered on the 1st June after a weekend of rioting in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
