On 4th June, Spencer “Hiko” Martin announced he will become the team captain of the 100 Thieves Valorant roster, the next move in his esport career since he retired as a professional in CS:GO.<\/p>\n

This also acts as 100 Thieves entry into Valorant, which already has top esport organisations such as Korea’s T1, TSM, and Sentinels who made a splash when they recruited former Overwatch MVP Jay “sinatraa” Won<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Esports orgs are buying in early with this roadmap released by Riot Games<\/a> expected to create a financially viable esport scene.<\/p>\n
