Pokemon Scarlet and Violet<\/strong> are the latest entries in the mainline Pokemon game series. In these two games, players explored the Paldea region and discovered a slew of new Pokemon to catch. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has gotten bigger too thanks to the DLC<\/a> that has been released. The new DLC gave players a lot of new content to check out in Scarlet and Violet.<\/p>\n

One of the key aspects of the new DLC is introducing new Legendary Pokemon like Ogerpon<\/a>. These Legendary Pokemon have some limits to them though. At the moment, these Pokemon cannot be shiny. But what about Koraidon and Miradon? Is it possible to catch Shiny Koraidon or Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

Can Koraidon Or Miraidon Be Shiny In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When it comes to the older Pokemon games, players could catch shiny versions of the box legendary Pokemon. It would have full odds of being shiny so players had to soft-reset the game repeatedly to catch them. When Scarlet and Violet first launched, Koraidon and Miradon were both shiny-locked <\/strong>which means they cannot be shiny.<\/p>\n

Players are hoping that the fact new DLC has launched for Scarlet and Violet will mean that Koraidon and Miraidon<\/a> will be obtainable as Shiny Pokemon. Sadly, this is not the case. At the time of this writing, Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon cannot be obtained legally in Scarlet and Violet<\/strong>. We hope that one day soon, this will no longer be the case.<\/p>\n

When Will Shiny Koraidon Or Miraidon Become Available In Scarlet And Violet?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One thing that we are sure of is Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon will eventually become available<\/strong>. The only confusing part is when will that happen. In Pokemon Sword and Shield, Zacian and Zamazenta were also shiny-locked. Eventually, a GameStop event allowed players to obtain Shiny Zacian and Zamazenta with no problems.<\/p>\n

The only issue is that it took a few years before that happened. Based on how long it took for Shiny Zacian and Zamazenta to launch, we will say that Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon will launch in 2024 through an event<\/strong>. That is a long time and we could get a shiny event a lot sooner. But all that we do know is that Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon will launch through events either as a Mystery Gift or through a store.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
