With  Diablo 4 Season 2<\/a>  (Season of Blood), Varshan from Season 1<\/a> returns as an endgame boss, meant to challenge players in the higher World Tier difficulty levels. This boss returns as the Echo of Varshan, an uber encounter with some fantastic rewards.<\/p>\n

In this guide, we explain how you can unlock Echo of Varshan in Diablo 4 Season 2, how to get the summoning materials, the unique items it can drop, and its loot pool, so let’s pop an elixir and jump in!<\/p>\n

Unlock Echo of Varshan in Diablo 4 Season 2<\/h2>\n

To unlock Echo of Varshan, you will need to first unlock the World Tier 3 difficulty level. There’s also a version available in World Tier 4. <\/p>\n
Players will have to complete Whispers of the Dead events and defeat Grotesque Debtors to get Varshan’s body parts. Once you hand in Grim Favors (10) at the Tree of Whispers<\/a>, you will be guaranteed a body part.<\/p>\n
Players who get enough body parts (including a Malignant Heart in World Tier 4 specifically) will be able to summon the Echo of Varshan.<\/p>\n
We suggest keeping any Varshan body parts or Malignant Hearts you find, as Blizzard explains:<\/p>\n

You’ll need to meet the summoning conditions of a boss each time you want to fight it, so hold on to any additional summoning materials that you might acquire during your travels.<\/p>\n

Don’t expect Echo of Varshan to rain down Shako’s, however, as only the Echo of Duriel has a “significantly increased chance to drop Uber Uniques.”<\/p>\n
