With Diablo 4 Season 2<\/a> (Season of Blood), Blizzard has added five endgame bosses, one of which is The Beast in the Ice. Diablo 4 players who want to slay The Beast in the Ice as soon as possible will need to know how to unlock it and probably want the shiny loot details as well.<\/p>\n

In this guide, we explain all the requirements to unlock The Beast in the Ice in Diablo 4, including the summoning materials, difficulty level, and rewards, including a Unique cosmetic item Nephalem can acquire, so let’s jump in.<\/p>\n

Unlock The Beast in the Ice Boss in Diablo 4 S2<\/h2>\n

As a brutish new endgame boss, The Beast in the Ice isn’t all that easy to unlock. Players will first have to reach the World Tier 4 difficulty level in the Season of Blood. From there, they will have to complete Nightmare Dungeons Tier 30 or higher, gathering Distilled Fear as they farm.<\/p>\n
Once you’ve farmed enough Distilled Fear, you can visit an Occultist vendor and craft “Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil.” Use this Sigil to activate it and summon the Beast in the Ice.<\/p>\n
Keep in mind that the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil will be consumed on use, so if you want to summon the Beast in the Ice again, you will need to repeat the process. We suggest keeping all the Distilled Fear you find!<\/p>\n

First and foremost, the image above showcases The Beast in the Ice’s unique cosmetic rewards that players have a chance of receiving when killing this endgame boss in Diablo 4 Season 2. In our opinion, both the Skull Torch and Fell Steed Mount Trophies look incredible and are well worth farming.<\/p>\n
The Beast in the Ice can also drop specific, exclusive, Unique items. Blizzard has shared the details on the Unique item pool for The Beast in the Ice endgame boss, showcasing the Uniques you can target-farm in Diablo 4 Season of Blood by defeating this challenging foe.<\/p>\n

Remember, only the Echo of Duriel has a “significantly increased chance to drop Uber Uniques,” so keep that in mind while trying to farm your very own Grandfather or Harlequin’s Crest.<\/p>\n
