Epic Games has introduced numerous characters to Fortnite to celebrate the Halloween season during Fortnitemares<\/a>. One of those characters is Vampire Kado Thorne, who wields Thorne’s Vampiric Blade<\/a>, which you can earn and wield for yourself by defeating him.<\/p>\n

To help you make the most of this event, here’s where to find Vamprie Kado Thorne and how to beat him so you can get your hands on this rare Vampiric Blade.<\/p>\n

How To Defeat Vampire Kado Thorne Boss In Fortnitemares<\/h2>\n

Vampire Kado Thorne is located in Eclipse Estates<\/strong>. (It’s worth noting that this is a hot landing spot, so you’ll want to watch out not only for Kado Thorne here but also for opponents.) To find him, you’ll need to make your way into the vault. Once you enter the vault, you’ll find one more door; open it to meet Vampire Kado Thorne.<\/p>\n

Kado Thorne wields a strong Mythic Drum Gun, so be prepared to face his fire. All weapons deal damage to Vampire Kado Thorne, but you’ll definitely want to avoid getting close, so most shotguns are out of the question. However, the brand new Wood Stake Shotgun <\/strong>is literally made for defeating vampires like Vampire Kado Thorne, so it’s an ideal weapon to bring along with you. It has a decent range and can fire pretty quickly, making it a great pick for fighting this boss.<\/p>\n

You may also want to keep some Shield Potions or a Med-Spray on hand, so if you take too much damage while fighting Vampire Kado Thorne you can quickly heal up, and then jump back into the fight.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve defeated Vampire Kado Thorne, you can pick up the Thorne’s Vampiric Blade loot. It’s very similar to the Kinetic Blade, a fan-favorite mobility item, that’ll allow you to dash across the map and deal damage with high efficiency. However, it has an even faster cooldown than the Kinetic Blade.<\/p>\n

Note that you’ll only be able to defeat Vampire Kado Thorne, and wield his Vampiric Blade, during Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
