While we did enjoy Payday 3<\/a> during our review<\/a> period, it is clear that the game still has some issues. In fact, the Payday 3 known issues<\/a> list is quite long, and fans of the franchise have been calling loudly for updates to improve the game, fix bugs, and more.<\/p>\n

The first big Payday 3 update was supposed to be released on 5 October 2023, but on that day, the developers apologized and delayed the update. Now, the update has been delayed once more, with no exact release date given.<\/p>\n

To put things into perspective, according to the developers, Payday 3’s first update boasts over 200 quality-of-life improvements and fixes. That says something about the current state of the game, which has not received a significant update since launch (there have been server-side hotfixes).<\/p>\n

What might be worse, however, is the lack of communication. Taking to Twitter (X), the Payday 3 devs apologized for the lack of communication, stating:<\/p>\n

Heisters, we’re sorry for the lack of communication regarding the first patch. We have identified some issues that need to be fixed before we can bring it to you, but rest assured that this is the main priority for our teams.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The developers continued by explaining that they were working on the patching process.<\/p>\n
