And&nbsp;while&nbsp;Dead Space 2 followed that formula,&nbsp;Dead Space 3 was mostly a disappointment for fans, due to its focus on action and lack of the distinguishable atmosphere the first two games were known for.<\/p>\n<p>Visceral Games, the studio behind the series,&nbsp;was shut down in 2017, and so it seems that Dead Space died with them.<\/p>\n<p>But, hopes of fans are being reignited this evening, since one of the original Dead Space writers, Antony Johnston, tweeted that he has been&nbsp;working on a new game for the last two&nbsp;years and that we should watch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/sony-reschedule-playstation-5-future-of-gaming-launch-event-for-11-june\" target=\"_blank\">PlayStation 5 event <\/a>this Thursday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AntonyJohnston\/status\/1270474515160727552\"><twitter-widget class=\"twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered\" id=\"twitter-widget-0\" style=\"position: absolute;
